All dogs must be spayed and neutered by their 7 month birthday. Proof of spay/neuter must be provided.
All dogs must be vaccinated prior to attending daycare. The vaccinations we need to see are Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Parainfluenza, and Rabies.
Flea/tick preventative must be used between April and September.
It is recommended that all dogs be vaccinated with Bordatella to minimize the chances of Kennel Cough. This won’t guarantee that your dog won’t ever get Kennel Cough. However, it does minimize the severity of the symptoms.
The dogs in the daycare play rough. They are free to run throughout the day. When dogs wrestle they often use their teeth and paws. Due to the nature of dogs your dog may come home with a few scratches and scrapes.
If your dog is involved with something more than a rough wrestling match you will be the first to know. If we can’t get ahold of you then we will inform your emergency contact. If your dog gets injured and medical attention is required immediately we will contact your vet. A first aid kit is stocked and is stored right in the daycare area for this purpose. The instigator will be given a time out. Depending on the severity of the situation the instigator or any dog who causes serious bodily harm will be suspended from daycare.
If you think your dog is sick please keep your dog at home. If we notice your dog is sick after he has been dropped off he will be quarantined from the daycare and you or your emergency contact will be informed immediately. The daycare floor, the outside area, all of the water bowls and toys will need to be disinfected immediately. This is to prevent the spread of germs throughout the facility.
The dogs do get crate time at noon to allow staff a break for lunch. If it recommended that the dogs be comfortable in a crate or xpen. You may provide food or treats or a toy for your dog during this time. We also have treats you can purchase as an add on for your dogs visit.
If you need to cancel please provide us with 24 hrs cancellation notice if you can.
